OUR STORY

How SUBJCT started

Founded in late 2024, SUBJCT was built by a team who'd lived the problem first hand inside the media industry. Search was changing fast, publishers and brands were investing heavily in content production, yet workflows stayed manual and approaches outdated, leaving content optimisation for AI search lagging badly behind.

SUBJCT closes that gap: the infrastructure layer that optimises content for AI search and automates the workflows around it.

Ben Martin and Dan Reeves bring complementary experience in digital marketing, content and media leadership. Ben previously led digital strategy as Head of Digital at talkSPORT; Dan spent over 20 years in senior sales leadership roles, including at The Week.

THE SUBJCT PLATFORM

What SUBJCT does

SUBJCT is the content optimisation platform for AI search. It helps organisations build topical authority, create a machine-readable data layer, and structure content around entities — so it can be found, read and cited by AI-generated answers and semantic search results.

Five core capabilities run the platform: entity analysis, automated internal linking, JSON-LD schema, automated entity tagging, and prompt optimisation. All are delivered through an API-first architecture, with a web application, a WordPress plugin, and an MCP server for direct integration.

SUBJCT is a Google Cloud for Startups partner, built to operate at genuine archive scale — ingesting and structuring content libraries that run from hundreds of pages into the millions.
